Foto Profile dan Biografi Lengkap Amisha Patel | Ameesha Patel. Amisha Amit Patel atau lebih dikenal dengan Ameesha Patel adalah aktris kelahiran Maharashtra, India, pada 9 Juni 1977. Ia adalah anak perempuan dari pasangan Amit Patel dan Asha Patel. Amisha memiliki saudara perempuan bernama Ashmit Patel, sedangkan kakeknya adalah seorang pengacara terkenal, Rajni Patel. Ameesha Patel pernah bersekolah di Cathedral and John Connon School di Bombay. Kemudian dia melanjutkan studinya ke jurusan Ekonomi Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts.

Setelah lulus kuliah, Patel mengawali karirnya sebagai analis ekonomi untuk Khandwala Securities Limited. Kemudian, dia mendapat tawaran dari Morgan Stanley tetapi Patel menolaknya. Setelah kembali ke India, ia bergabung dengan kelompok teater Satyadev Dubey dan mulai mengasah kemampuan aktingnya dengan bermain peran, termasuk bermain dalam drama berbahasa Urdu yang berjudul NEELAM (1999) yang ditulis oleh Tanveer Khan. Namun sebelum berhasil mendapatkan peran dalam drama tersebut, Patel harus terlebih dahulu bersusah payah untuk mendapatkan izin dari orang tuanya yang tergolong konservatif.

Selain mulai terjun ke dunia akting, pada saat yang sama ia terjun ke dunia model dengan muncul dalam beberapa iklan komersial. Patel juga model untuk berbagai produk terkenal asal India seperti Bajaj Sevashram, Fair & Lovely, Cadburys Jai Kapur, Meh, Lux dan banyak lagi.

Karir Amisha di dunia film berawal dari rencana sutradara Rakesh Roshan, yang ingin memperkenalkan anaknya Hrithik Roshan pada dunia film. Ia membutuhkan pendatang baru yang menjadi lawan main anak laki-lakinya tersebut. Berhubung keluarga Patel dan Roshan adalah sahabat, maka Rakesh Roshan menempatkan Amisha dalam Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai (2000). Di mana ia berperan sebagai wanita yang menderita kecanduan obat-obatan.

Sukses di film pertama, membuat pacar sutradara Vikram Bhatt ini mendapat tawaran banyak film hingga kemudian membintangi sejumlah film terkenal. Secara berturut-turt film yang dibintanginya meliputi GADAR: EK PREM KATHA, BADRI, MERE JEEVAN SAATHI, ELAAN, THE RISING, ZAMEER, VAADA, YEH ZINDAGI KA SAFAR, SUNO SASURJEE, NAANI, PARWANA, HUMRAAZ, YEH HAI JALWA, PUTHIYA GEETHAI, KYA YEHI PYAAR HAI, KRANTI dan AAP MUJHE ACHCHE LAGNE LAGE. Film terakhirnya berjudul THE RISING, MERE JEEVAN SAATHI dan akan segera merilis HUMKO TUMSE PYAAR HAI, TATHASTU.
