Inilah Gambar BMW 1-Series Tiga Pintu Terbaru Akhirnya Terungkap. Pada umumnya, BMW 1-Series ini merupakan mobil sedan premium yang memiliki lima pintu. Namun, apa yang terjadi jika varian 1-Series ini berubah menjadi tiga pintu.

Menurut berita yang saya dapatkan, ada salah satu situs yang berasal dari China, yakni Sohu.com telah mengekspos gambar BMW 1-Series yang memiliki tiga pintu. Dalam gambar itu, varian 1-Series tiga pintu ini tetap terlihat elegan dan sporty seperti 1-Series lima pintu.

Mobil tersebut terlihat jauh lebih panjang karena tidak adanya kedua pintu belakang. Atapnya terlihat jauh lebih lebar, kesan lebar dan tersebut dikarenakan perpaduan antara lekukan atap serta kaca depan yang besar. Namun, mobil itu tetap dapat berakselerasi dengan sempurna.

Rencananya, 1-Series tiga pintu ini tersedia dalam enam varian yang berbeda. Varian tersebut masih dirahasiakan dan diharapkan 1-Series hatchback ini segera meluncur pada musim panas di 2012 mendatang.

Sementara itu, mengenai dapur pacu, BMW masih merahasiakannya dan diperkirakan akan tetap dibekali dengan mesin pada BMW 1-Series lima pintu, yakni mesin diesel 2.0 liter dengan teknologi BMW TwinPower Turbo, yang terdiri dari variable geometri turbochanger dan magnetic katup injeksi langsun
