Bagaimana Memilih Judul Blog

Ada 3 hal yang sebaiknya dilakukan saat memilih judul blog :

  1. Judul Blog Harus Mendeskripsikan Isi Blog Anda. Orang akan terlebih dahulu membaca nama/judul blog Anda sebelum memutuskan untuk mengunjungi dan membaca isi dari blog Anda, terutama apabila mereka mencari dari sebuah Search Engine. Jika dari melihat judul sebuah blog orang sudah dapat membayangkan/mengetahui isi dari blog tersebut, mereka akan lebih tertarik untuk mengunjunginya.
  2. Judul Blog Harus Mudah Diingat. Misalkan blog Anda berisi tentang bahan makanan organik, resep masakan, restoran dan segala yang berhubungan dengan makanan organik, buatlah judul misalnya "Dunia Makanan Organik". Itu lebih baik daripada Anda memilih judul "Resep, Restoran dan Bahan Makanan Organik". Selain terlalu panjang juga tidak mudah untuk diingat.
  3. Judul Blog Sebaiknya Sama Dengan Nama Domain. Hal yang satu ini sering tidak dihiraukan oleh para blogger. Mungkin karena untuk menemukan nama domain yang pas, tapi belum digunakan oleh orang lain adalah sesuatu yang sulit. Walaupun begitu, tetap apabila nama domain Anda tidak sesuai dengan judul blog, Anda mungkin akan menghadapi resiko kehilangan pengunjung blog Anda. Saat orang mengunjungi blog Anda lewat sebuah 'link', mereka kebanyakan hanya akan membaca judul blog. Apabila suatu saat mereka berniat mengunjungi blog Anda lagi, yang mereka lakukan adalah mengetik judul blog Anda diikuti dengan dot com atau yang lainnya. Jika mereka tidak menemukan yang mereka cari, yaitu blog Anda, mereka akan pergi mencari blog yang lain.
