Armstrong menikah dengan Adrienne Nesser pada 2 Juli 1994, dengan dikaruniai dua orang anak, Joseph Maricano Armstrong (15 Maret 1995) dan Jakob Danger Armstrong (2 September 1998). Pernikahan mereka dilaksanakan di belakang rumah Armstrong dan berlangsung selama lima menit. Mereka berbulan madu di Hotel Claremont, yang hanya berjarak 10 menit dari rumahnya.
