Manfaat susu memang tak lagi diragukan. Tak heran berbagai produk kosmetik berformula susu kini amat digemari. Namun, tahukah Anda bahwa susu bubuk atau susu tepung dalam kemasan pun dapat digunakan untuk perawatan kecantikan kulit tubuh sehari-hari?

Susu yang kaya kandungan zat asam beta hydroxy alami, kini sering dijadikan campuran untuk lulur. Campuran ini tak saja berfungsi sebagai peeling yang mengikis kotoran dan sel kulit mati, namun mampu mencerahkan kulit hingga terlihat lebih halus dan tidak bersisik. Selain itu, kandungan protein dalam susu juga berguna sebagai suplai nutrisi yang berfungsi melembabkan sekaligus melapisi permukaan kulit agar lebih halus dan kenyal.

Cara Menggunakan
  1. Ambil lulur bubuk secukupnya, larutkan dengan sedikit air (bisa pula menggunakan lulur instan atau lulur kocok yang umumnya telah mengandung air).
  2. Tambahkan sedikit air perasan jeruk nipis atau lemon, larutkan hingga tercampur dengan baik.
  3. Masukkan 2 sendok makan susu bubuk ke dalam larutan, aduk hingga mengental.
  4. Oleskan larutan merata ke seluruh permukaan kulit tubuh. Beri perhatian ekstra pada daerah persendian, siku atau lipatan-lipatan kulit yang umumnya sering terabaikan.
  5. Tunggu sejenak dan biarkan hingga setengah kering. Gosok perlahan, sesekali lakukan pijat ringan dengan gerakan memutar. Pastikan hingga sisa lulur dan kotoran yang menempel di kulit mengelupas dan tanggal.
  6. Bersihkan sekujur tubuh dengan air hangat, dan akhiri dengan olesan pelembab ke seluruh tubuh.

Teliti Sebelum Luluran
  1. Pastikan kulit tubuh Anda sedang tidak mengalami gangguan kulit yang serius. Minimal, tidak terdapat luka basah atau terbuka.
  2. Raciklah lulur dan susu bubuk yang baru setiap kali akan digunakan, agar meminimalkan risiko lulur atau susu bubuk terkontaminasi.
  3. Lulur plus susu umumnya dapat digunakan untuk semua jenis kulit. Terlebih, bagi yang berkulit kering, kusam dan cenderung bersisik. Untuk mereka, dianjurkan menggunakan susu bubuk atau susu kaleng berformula full cream, agar diperoleh manfaat pelembab yang maksimal.
